April Newsletter
Your April 11' Newsletter is here, and this month we will be discussing Good Balance.* Good balance is crucial to hitting consistent and concise golf shots. Here is a practice tip to help sharpen up your balance:
- Take a short iron (#7, 8, or 9) and tee up a ball.
- Set up in your normal address position, and slowly lift your right foot off the ground.
- Hit the shot - at first you will probably have too much lateral movement and lose your balance.
- Continue to hit shots and concentrate on making smooth, controlled swings hitting the ball 40 to 50 yards.
- When you get pretty consistent with your right foot off the ground, reverse feet so your left foot is off the ground.
- Continue until you can hit good shots off either foot.
When you get to the point where you are able to hit good shots off either foot, it will be a piece of cake hitting the ball solidly on two feet.

Now go out and play better golf!
