February Newsletter
Your February 11' Newsletter is here, and this month we will be discussing Square Contact With Your Putter.* Perfectly square contact will have a putted ball leaving the putter face rolling end over end. This "true" roll will give you the best chance to accurately sink putts. Here is a practice tip for the offseason:
- Take a nickel and stand it up edgewise on a smooth floor.
- Then make a putting stroke for about a 10 Foot putt.
- Strike the nickel squarely on its back edge so that it rolls forward just like a wheel.
- Try to improve to the point where you can make the nickel roll consistently.
If you can achieve this, you will get the new golf season off on a "Good Roll" in the spring.

Now go out and play better golf!

"There are no points for style when it comes to putting. It's getting the ball in the cup that counts." - Brian Swarbrick
