HARWOOD, the worlds first Historic Golf Trophy designer and manufacturer that uses redundant old clubs and restores them to keep our Golfing Heritage alive. Their Trophies are so unique that they guarantee you will not find anything that comes close.
Their aim is to keep the history of the game alive and accessible by restoring the old clubs and presenting them as a trophy that any golfer would be proud to own. Each club has a history attached whether it's the make, model or the endorsed name, so therefore a certificate of authenticity is issued with each trophy giving a brief history of the club. On the back of each plinth is a solid brass plaque with a serial number that corresponds to the certificate, making them a collector's item.
Golf clubs come in all shapes and sizes and when restored no two are the same. All of the trophies are made to order, so they may not look exactly like the image. However, with the Harwood reputation, you can trust that you will be 100
This Iron has the name Fred Whiting of Royal St Georges Sandwich stamped on the back however it also has an early anvil cleek mark which means it was made by A.G.Spalding and Bros in the early part of the last century.
